HTML / XHTML / CSS Validation

Before submitting your site to a search engine, you should definitely check, if the used HTML / XHTML / CSS code is correct. Appropriate tools are provided by the W3C website (World Wide Web Consortium). Firefox also offers an add-on called 'HTML Validator', with which you can review the source code right in the browser. You can download this add-on via 'Tools / AddOns / View all AddOns' and entering 'HTML Validator' in the search box. As soon as you have installed the add-on, a small icon at the bottom right of your browser window indicates (green check mark or warning cross), whether the code is ok or not. Just click on this icon for more information.
